From what I understand, if you pay taxes then you%26#039;re eligible. Just keep in mind that whatever amount you receive will be deducted from your tax refund in 2009.

It%26#039;s actually more an advance of your next year%26#039;s tax refund than a rebate. If we get $300, we will get $300 less of a refund when we file our 2008 taxes.

The big problem will come next year when people get less money back and weren%26#039;t prepared for it.

If you earned at least 3000 or receive ssi, etc., you can get $300. If you actually paid taxes on your wages, you will get $600 ($1200 mfj.)

No - if you had at least $3000 of earned income, you are still eligible - the amount would probably be $300 for yourself, or $600 on a joint return since there would be 2 people, plus $300 for each qualifying child.
