I have just received a check for $500.00 from accertmycash.com signed Jennifer Jackson, Credit Manager.?

Just read everything that came with it... cashing might suddenly find you having purchased something with it and a monthly bill. If you don%26#039;t know the company or person, and had no reason to expect a check, then it%26#039;s not legitimate. Even that name %26quot;acceptmycash.com%26quot; (assuming it was spelled %26quot;accept%26quot; and not %26quot;accert%26quot; as you have it), even sounds suspect. Did you even go to the site and check it out??? You can tell it%26#039;s a scam. It%26#039;s a %26quot;cash advance%26quot; or a loan. Once they get your bank information you%26#039;d be owing them big time. Took 2 seconds to figure that out. TEAR THAT CHECK UP!!!!!! No need to take it to the police. These kinds of gimmicks or scams are a dime a dozen. Just tearing it up (or shredding) will be sufficient.

If you just got a mysterious check out of nowhere, take it to the police, it may be a scam.
