It%26#039;s going to be tough to get a regular credit card for bad credit. They all do credit checks. If they don%26#039;t, I would question their integrity. Normally, instant approvals are for those with good to perfect credit. Your best bet is to clean your credit and look for a part time job to pay of all your bills and then start reestablishing your credit.

At this point, I would suggest that you open at least two secured credit cards to re-establish your credit. There are no shortcuts and even if you find a company that offers you a credit card, the rates are going to be excessively high.

I know someone who had a score of 513 last year and today her score is 680. How? She re-established her credit by paying off all her bills, budgeted herself and used secured credit cards. When her score reached 620, she bought a house and from there her score just kept rising. Now her secured credit cards are regular credit cards with low rates.

If someone stole your credit, you should file a fraud alert with the three major credit agencies.

No Aussie bank will approve a credit card without carrying out a credit check.
